Supported Open Source Products.

Introduction.

AntWebsystems is primarily a services company helping you to use the open-source system Apache OFBiz as efficiently as possible. Alongside to providing these services for the base OFBiz product we have a number of products which we either use ourselves (Scrum/Agile/GrowERP) or are the result of customizations we created for several customers and which we use over an over again improving the product on the way.

As mentioned, OFBiz is the base product. GrowErp contains some enhancements which we think are useful but we did not (yet) commit back to the core system with the apache foundation. We also completed further development on the Scrum now called growerpagile component. All these products are open source with the same license as the Apache OFBiz core system and can be freely downloaded from our Gerrit/GIT repository, using a GIT client.

All products have a README file in the root showing how to install the product. All products are based on a recent version of OFBiz and work with the trunk version which can be downloaded here.

Apache OFBiz Open source ERP.(from the official website at http://ofbiz.apache.org)

Apache OFBiz (The Apache Open For Business Project) is an open source enterprise automation software project licensed under the Apache License Version 2.0. By open source enterprise automation we mean: Open Source ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), Open Source CRM (Customer RelationShip Management), Open Source E-Business / E-Commerce, Open Source SCM (Supply Chain Management), Open Source MRP (Manufacturing Resources Planning), Open Source CMMS/EAM (Maintenance Management System/Enterprise Asset Management), Open Source POS (Point Of Sale), and so on.

Apache OFBiz is a foundation and starting point for reliable, secure and scalable enterprise solutions. Use it out-of-the-box (OOTB) or customize to suit even your most challenging business needs. With OFBiz in place, you can get started right away and then grow your operations as your business grows, without the huge deployment and maintenance costs of traditional enterprise automation systems.

Being open source under the Apache 2.0 license and driven by a community Apache OFBiz offers both flexibility by design and access to code, and a solution where you're not alone but rather can work with many others to get things done. It's hard to say who and how many organizations are using Apache OFBiz because they don't have to tell us when they use it. In the documentation page you'll find link to a Wiki page with the list of known sites and products based on OFBiz we know about ("Users of Apache OFBiz").

GrowERP OFBiz component, the open source ERP system which grows with your business.

When we implement OFBiz with our customers we usually scale down from the full version of OFBiz, however for the smaller customers that is a lot of work which needs to be repeated every time. GrowERP allows you to start small and add the functions according to specific customer needs. Further we found that these smaller customers can be better served in a multi-tenant environment. We normally add a component on top of GrowERP to add customer specific functions which can operate also in a multi-tenant environment.

More information can be found at the related website at http://www.growerp.com

Scrum OFBiz component.

This is a component we also use ourselves and which administers all the major data in a Scrum environment like Scrum products, scrum projects and backlogs. It can also accept time registration of its members and can generate invoices from it. It currently has an interface to SVN but we are switching to a GIT environment.
